Divus Septimius Severus, died 211. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.10 g, 12 h), Rome, mid to late 211. DIVO SEVERO PIO Bare head of Divus Septimius Severus to right. Rev. CONSECRATIO Eagle standing right on garlanded altar, head turned to left. BMC 20. Cohen 86. RIC 191D. Well struck and nicely toned. Very light deposits, otherwise, extremely fine.
